I hope you've all had a fantastic week on and off the golf course and welcome to another exciting edition of the Moray Pro Shop weekly newsletter, bringing you up to date with all the latest news and gossip from within the walls of MGC.
We have had a busy week here at the shop with lots of boxes starting to arrive. We now have our new adidas shoe range arrive and these are being put out on display as we speak. We have also now taken delivery of our PING G Series range of woods and irons as well as a limited edition cart and stand bag.
We have also had our demos arrive for the new TaylorMade M2 series Drivers and irons. These new irons are very hot and the Drivers are very similar in look to its M1 counterpart, but with a little less adjustability and as a result a more appealing price tag of £279 for the driver.
You can try these out at Moray GC a week before the official launch date of the 19th February.
Click here to find out more about the brand new M2, or click here to get in touch if you would like to arrange a demo/fitting.
Could you be our M2 tester?
Come in past for a trial and we would love to get some feedback on the product from a few of you. If anyone would like to test the product and be willing to write a very short review of the product for my newsletter then please click here.
I've been down in Auchterarder checking out the Autumn/Winter Collection for Oscar Jacobson which looked great. I went in past the reps showroom on the way to Ayr to collect my son Jack for the mid-term break. Jack is now 14 years old (yes I know i don't look old enough to have a 14 year old son!!) and I've still not managed to get Jack into playing golf. He says he hates it (haha) but I'm not giving up hope quite yet!!

Night GolfThanks to everyone who came along last week to the Night Golf event on Saturday night. We had 32 players take part over the 6 hole course and everyone seemed to have fun (some more than others...).
We had joint winners on a score of 21 in the individual event with
Craig Smith and new member
Andrew Ross sharing the spoils.
In the team event members
Scotty Little and
Michael Anderson were joined by guests
Conal Burgess and
Stuart Tatters to take first place on a team score of 37.
We are planning another Night Golf event at the end of the season and I'll be sure to try not to double book with any Scotland vs England sporting events!!
Hopefully we can get a few more to come along later in the year.
Kevin and the team have been busy working on some new bunkers out on the course this last week. Check out the pictures below.
A new fairway bunker has been added down the left hand side of the 16th fairway of the Old Course, and one of the long greenside bunkers on the 17th of the New course has been turned into 2 smaller pot bunkers.
They both look great and I'm sure you will all get a much better look in the coming weeks!!
