Hello golfers,
I hope you've all had a fantastic week on and off the golf course and welcome to another exciting edition of the Moray Pro Shop weekly newsletter, bringing you up to date with all the latest news and gossip from within the walls of MGC.
We have been very busy again for February with plenty of new deliveries arriving daily. We are just trying to figure out where everything is going to go as usual!! Derek has been down at the Belfry all week for his 2nd year PGA residential week while I had the 876 mile roundtrip down to the PING European headquarters at Gainsborough with Moray members Kyle Godsman and Jeff Wright. I've run out of time this week but will have a full roundup of the PING trip and Derek's PGA training next week along with some exciting dates for your diaries this coming season!!
I managed to get back up the road in time for some product training on Thursday morning with Titleist. I was shown the new Vokey SM6 wedges for the first time as well as the new Scotty Cameron putters. I have to say they aren't the cheapest wedge or putter on the market, but they do look stunning. We will have the wedges arriving around the 11th March with the putters arriving around the 9th April. We will have a good selection of wedges for trial and are planning a wedge fitting event for members and readers of the newsletter shortly after their launch.
In the meantime you'll just need to take my word for it and make do with a couple of pictures!!

Playing the 16th Old Pete's ball was just short of the putting surface to the front left of the green with the flag on the top level. An area of casual water had formed in the hollow short of the hole. Pete asked Bill if he was entitled to relief as the Casual Water was on his LINE OF PLAY. Was Bill able to grant him relief?.
No . Pete was not entitled to free relief because his ball lay off the putting green . Relief is only granted if your ball is on the green and intervention of Casual water is on your LINE OF PUTT. Pete is also not permitted to remove any of the Casual Water on his LINE OF PLAY.
