Entries Open for Pros Day
We are now taking bookings through the shop for Pros Day on Saturday 17th May. The format on the day is an Individual Stableford competition, as well as a Team Event with the best 2 scores from a team of 4 to count at each hole.
We will have some fantastic prizes up for grabs on the day for both events and will also have a number of on course prizes up for grabs. We will be trying to raise some money for the Ladybird Group as per previous years with a Par 3 Challenge on the day (bring your £5 note!!) Finally at the end of the day we will be running ''Putt to be a Millionnaire'' with the chance to win a 4 ball to the Ryder Cup Venue, Gleneagles! The entry fee is £10.00 per person and will go towards the prizes and catering on the day. We will have a small bar on the course offering you some complimentary refreshments....alcoholic and non alcoholic!! Food will also be provided after your round as part of your Entry fee.

The Players
This week plays host to the unofficial 5th Major The players Championship, with a field that includes all the top players in the world played over such a great golf course its sure to make for a cracking tournament. One the Wednesday, the caddies get their shot at the island green 17 with 51 out of 110 hitting it in the water! Dustin Johnson and Ricky Fowler took on the same hole playing lefty while Phil Mickelson played righty! It was quite interesting to see how good these guys swung it the opposite way round!

During a Saturday Medal, Norrie's ball lies just off the putting green. Dave's ball lies near the hole in a position to serve as a back stop for Norrie's ball. Norrie requests Dave not to lift his ball . Is such a request Proper?
No. If Dave and Norrie agree not to lift the ball that might assist Norrie, both players are Disqualified under Rule 22-1 ( Ball Assisting Play)
