Ladies Club Championships
Congratulations to Kay Vincent on winning the ladies Club Championships scratch Trophy with a final round 82 and a winning total of 345. Judy Robertson was 2nd on 363 with Anne Main 3rd on 414.
Judy Robertson managed to win the handicap trophy with a 2 shot victory over Kay Vincent. Anne Main was again 3rd on a total of 342, with Irene Smith one back on 343.

Junior Summer Coaching Dates
It's not too late to book in for our first summer camp date. Our first session will be from Monday 3rd July to Wednesday, 5 July with an under 10's session 9.30-11.00am and over 10's session from 11.30-13.00.
We will have a 2nd summer camp running from Tuesday, 8 to Thursday, 10 August with both under 10's and over 10's sessions running at the same times as the July sessions. The cost will be £30 per 3 day camp.
Spaces are limited so be quick to guarantee your space!

Fund Raiser For Junior Section Texas Scramble

Relief
Graeme's shot to the 14th green Old was tugged left and came to rest on the 9th green New. He was unsure how to proceed with taking relief and asked David to explain the Rule…
David brought to his attention that interference to a player's Stance or Area of his intended swing is not, of itself, interference under the Rule of Wrong Putting Green. Graeme must not play the ball as it lies. He must take relief without penalty and lift his ball and drop it within one club length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief that is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
David then pointed out that the new proposed rules 2019 will now permit the player to obtain relief from interference with the area of intended Stance and Swing. I'm beginning to like these New Proposed Rules said Graeme.
