It has been a fantastic week at Moray GC with sunshine and very little wind giving some fantastic golfing conditions. I have been busy this week making the most of the weather on the practice ground with lots of lessons. I was also away to Inverness on Monday to look at the new adidas range of footwear and apparel for 2015. There are some great new shoes available and clothing to match.
Annual Equipment Survey
In order to help me decide on my shop suppliers for next year, I would really like to get some feedback from the membership about your preferences in equipment, clothing and apparel suppliers for 2015.
As some of you may have noticed in my past newsletter, we are now running an equipment survey. This is an online questionnaire that takes no more than five minutes of your time, and it can dramatically improve the service that we offer you.
By filling out the options, such as the current clubs you have, whether you have had custom fitting experience, and what brands you would be looking to add to your golf game in the future, we can assess what you want, and look to bring the brands that you want to buy in to the pro shop as new stock for the 2015 season.
One lucky member who participates in this survey will win a Moray Golf Club Shoe bag worth £25. If you have a spare 5 minutes, then please click here and fill out this extremely useful survey!
If you could also help me by clicking here and giving me the following:
1) Preferred Shoe supplier to be in stock
2) Top 2 clothing suppliers you would like me to stock
I will also put up the prize of a FREE dozen TaylorMade TP Golf Balls for one lucky response!

In the final of the Victory Cup, Gordon and Alan were bunkered at the 6th hole up against the face. Alan plays his shot, fails to come out and takes a swing with his club into the sand. His action does not improve the position of his ball in the bunker. What did their opponents Neil and Iain have to say?
In a foursome the word player includes his partner. In this case the prohibited actions in a hazard ( Rule 13-4) applys to the player and his partner. Therefore Gordon and Alan lost the hole.
