London Marathon - Not So Farah-Way I have just recently found out that I’ve been accepted to run next year’s London Marathon in aid of Parkinson’s UK. It’s always been something that I wanted to tick off my bucket list and on turning 40 earlier this year, I decided to enter the event. I’m delighted to have been given a place in the race representing the Parkinson’s UK team. My Dad passed away 6 years ago and was diagnosed and lived with the condition for the last 5 years of his life and so I really wanted to support this charity, run the race in memory of my Dad and hopefully be able to help others affected by Parkinson’s in some way. I have set up a Virgin Money Giving page to try to raise some money for the charity between now and the big day on the 28th April 2019. If anyone would like to make a small donation please click here or alternatively you can fill in my sponsorship form in the Pro Shop. Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated and will really help motivate me not only during the big event but in the months of training I’m about to embark over the next 6 months. Many Thanks John

Latest Update Just a quick couple of photos to keep you all updated on our indoor swing studio’s progress. We now have a level floor which is a relief as the joiners had to reinforce an area of this and replace the floorboards. We are now ready to have the walls taped and painted to almost complete the room ready for the simulator to be installed during January. We still have a lot of work to do trying to decide on the branding for the room and how the rest of the room will look. Here’s a couple of pictures of what I envisage to wet your appetites!!

It's time to stop putting it off - Christmas is getting closer and closer, so you need to consider what will be going under the tree later this year. We're not just talking about the presents that you buy for loved ones and friends, but also what you want to be unwrapping come December 25th. |
| Garmin Approach S10 | A golfer who is not utilising the immense help that a GPS device provides is putting themselves at a major disadvantage over their playing partners. Knowing how far you have to the green (front, middle and back) as well as hazards is vital to hitting your next shot with confidence, which you can get from the Approach S10. |
| Garmin Approach S60 | If, however, you want a little bit more style and information from your GPS then we'd suggest Garmin's Approach S60. The choice of straps means you can choose one to suit your lifestyle off the course, whilst its full-colour maps and touchscreen face eliminates any guesswork during your round. |
