Prize Giving

We had a good turnout on Friday for our Annual Prize Giving and it was great to see so many of you attend to collect your hard earned prizes. I became aware that there are still around 3 trophies which do not actually have any trophies and so if anyone would like donate a trophy to the club and forever have your name etched into Moray GC history then please let me know.

Swing Studio @ Moray Golf Club

Latest Update

We now have an initial install date starting on the 15th January so hope to have this open no later than the end of January.

We are also looking into software options for putting to further add to the studio and really allow us to work on any aspect of your game from the comfort of the clubhouse. Derek is testing out the SAM PuttLab and we will also be testing out the new putting solution from ForeSight Sports which works alongside their new GCQuad.

This week we’ve had the plasterboard finished off and hope to have the room painted and ready for the install by the end of next week.

We are just working on our prices for next season which will include golf tuition and simulator hire. If you’re struggling to find the perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones then why not get them a gift voucher for a lesson in our new Golf Studio or for a 4 Ball with their mates to play Carnoustie Links on the Simulator?

You can buy an hours simulator hire to play any of the following courses:

Teton Pines, Broken Tree, Blue Bayou, Willow Crest, Linfield National, Pebbles Beach, The Links @ Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hills, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Royal Troon or Wentworth.

We expect 9 holes to take around 1 hour and 18 holes around 2 hours (per 4 ball). Purchase an hour in the simulator or lesson in the studio for £40.

We will also have 10 VIP memberships available which will cost £500 or can be paid up at £60 per month (min 2 months or £120 paid in advance). These will include:

2 Hour simulator use or indoor range practice per month
OR
1 hours tuition per month plus 1 hours indoor range practice per month

Total Value is £80 per month or £960 per year

Look out for more packages becoming available in the coming weeks and we should hopefully have the simulator available to book online shortly too.

New balls, please

Sometimes we can overlook the small details. Take your golf ball for example; you might be getting by on picking any old ball from your bag, but have you ever wondered just how much of a difference a brand new golf ball will make to your overall performance?
