It's great to see so many guys still playing considering it's the middle of November. The kind weather is definitely helping.. I'm hoping the weather stays decent for the next week also as I'm away to play The PGA winter Fourball on Monday at Montrose and I've just had a look at the draw and Paul Lawrie is playing also!

TaylorMade R15 and Aero Burner

This week the R15 and Aero Burner were announced which caused a stir on social media with their #BuildTheClub campaign. One lucky customer got the chance to build the club over a couple of weeks with the help of tour pros, fellow customers and the the golf media. For the last 14 years TaylorMade have been the #1 Driver on tour, so the introduction of R15 and the Aero Burner has got us really excited, and we can't wait to see how they perform!

We have our shop Christmas Raffle tickets now available in the shop. This year we are doing it with a twist. Basically you will pull a ticket out of our box of raffle tickets and pay the value on that ticket. So if you pull out ticket number 1, you will pay 1p for your ticket. If you draw number 450, you will pay £4.50.

You can buy as many as you like, and the draw will be made on the 2nd January at the string competition.

If you fancy an electric trolley but don't want to pay £299 plus, then why not consider an ex rental trolley.

We lease these out during the year and will have a few of these available for our members to buy. These will have a 3 month warranty through the shop and will have just received a full service from the local Motocaddy Service Centre included worth £30 to ensure the trolley is in good working condition. Should you require a new battery for your trolley we will also give you the option to buy a spare battery at £59 (retail £75) for 18 hole, £84.99 (£99.99 retail) for 36 hole or £175 (Retail £199) for Lithium.

We had another strong showing for the second week of the winter cup with 66 playing the new course over Saturday and Sunday. Well done to Robbie Young and Stephen Murray on winning their respective divisions.
